Ingredients
2cups water (for each serving)
Basil (to taste)
Cardamom (to taste)
Cinnamon (to taste)
Ginger (fresh, roughly chopped)
Jaggery (to taste, as a natural sweetener)
Mint leaves (to taste)
Instructions
Prepare the basil, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, jaggery, and mint.
Heat about 2 cups of water in a pot until boiling.
Reduce the heat and add the prepared ingredients to the pot.
Now let the tea sit in the water for 5 to 10 minutes until its aroma spreads
Strain the tea into cups or a teapot.
If desired, add jaggery to taste and stir well.
