Acidity is a common issue that affects almost everyone at some point. It’s rare to find someone who hasn’t experienced the discomfort of acidity.

Today, I will share three best natural  remedies for acidity that I have personally applied and benefited from, hoping that you will find relief as well.

Because of our lifestyle and food habits, we often encounter acidity. To get relief, some people take antacids, which might provide temporary relief but don\’t address the root causes. Therefore, we need to carefully choose our lifestyle and food choices.

How to Solve This Problem in a Natural Way?

Today, I will share with you three remedies that will help you get relief from acidity.

1. How Coconut Water Helps with Acidity ?

Coconut water is rich in alkaline and electrolytes. It neutralizes stomach acid and provides relief from acidity. Moreover, its high potassium content helps balance the body\’s pH levels by reducing acidity. If possible, try to drink one glass of coconut water regularly, especially in the morning on an empty stomach.

2. Avipattikara Churna for Acid Reflux

This is known for its digestive benefits. You can find it as a herbal powder in any Ayurvedic store.

How to Prepare:

  • Take one or half a teaspoon of Avipattikara Churna.
  • Mix it with a little honey or warm water to make a paste.
  • Eat it 30 minutes before your meal and drink a glass of water.

This Avipattikara Churna is made with amla, haritaki, and fennel, which ease digestion and regulate acid production in the stomach. Moreover, it balances pitta dosha. Amla and haritaki protect the stomach from damage caused by excessive acid, and fennel or saunf helps in digestion by relaxing gastrointestinal muscles.

3. Jaggery for Acidity

Jaggery, made from sugarcane, is a natural sweetener that helps neutralize acidity and improves digestion. After lunch or dinner, eat a small piece of jaggery if it suits you.
