Baked Vegetable with Oats

I'm here on Roni Sarker . Today I'm going to show you a unique baked vegetable combination you must not have seen before.
This is a special recipe for me that everyone likes so much, especially since my mother taught me how to make it. I learned this special recipe from her, and I add some extra spices to make it even more delicious. After eating or serving it to your friends, you feel proud when they enjoy it and appreciate your cooking.

Equipment

  • 1 Baking Dish A large oven-safe dish for baking the vegetables and sauce.
  • 1 Saucepan For warming the olive oil and making the white sauce.
  • 1 Cutting Board For chopping the vegetables.
  • 1 Knife For cutting vegetables into shapes.
  • 1 Grater For grating the cheddar cheese.
  • 1 Measuring Cups and Spoons For measuring the ingredients accurately.
  • 1 Spatula or Wooden Spoon For stirring the sauce and mixing the vegetables.
  • 1 Oven To bake the dish at 220°C (428°F).

Ingredients
  

  • 4 medium cheeky red tomatoes Fresh and ripe
  • 4 cloves garlics Minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil For sautéing
  • Assorted varies assorted vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, zucchini, yellow and green bell peppers) Cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tbsp white oat flour Made from ground white oats
  • 1 cup soya milk Unsweetened preferred
  • to taste salt For seasoning
  • to taste black pepper For seasoning
  • to taste mixed herbs Italian seasoning recommended
  • to taste nutmeg Freshly grated for best flavor
  • as needed fresh coriander stalks For garnish
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese For topping

Instructions
 

  • Get Ready the White Sauce: Warm olive oil in a hot dish and add white oat flour. Pour in the soya milk and cook until thickened. Season with salt, nutmeg, and black pepper. Mix in half of the cheddar cheese for a cheesy flavor.
  • Sauté the Vegetables: Cut zucchini and bell peppers into cubes. Sauté zucchini in olive oil until somewhat browned, then add bell peppers and cook for another minute.
  • Combine: Blend the sautéed zucchini and bell peppers with the white sauce. In a large baking dish, combine the mixed vegetables and white sauce.
  • Bake: Top the mixture with the remaining cheddar cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C (428°F) for 2-3 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
  • Serve: Enjoy this healthy and delicious baked vegetable dish, made with white oats. It’s perfect for the whole family!
