Equipment

  • Nonstick Pan
  • Blender or Juicer
  • Strainer
  • Measuring Cups and Spoons
  • Serving Glasses
  • Spoon
  • Knife

Ingredients
  

  • 2 sweet limes
  • Sweet lime slice for garnish
  • 4-5 nannari root (sarasaparilla) pieces, crushed and soaked for 2-3 hours
  • 9 measures Sugar Free Natura
  • 3-4 ice cubes
  • 1 tbsp soaked basil seeds

Instructions
 

  • Drain and add the nannari root (sarasaparilla) pieces to a deep nonstick pan. Add 3 cups of water and Sugar Free Natura, then cook until the mixture reduces to half of its original volume. Strain and allow it to cool.
  • Halve the sweet limes and extract the juice.
  • Add ice cubes to individual glasses. Add 2 tablespoons of the prepared nannari extract and basil seeds.
  • Top up with sweet lime juice, garnish with a sweet lime slice, and serve chilled.

Notes

  • Nannari Root: You should soak the nannari root in water for 2-3 hours before use to ensure it softens and releases its flavor during cooking.
    Basil Seeds: It adds a refreshing texture and health benefits to the drink. You can adjust the amount based on your preference.
